USC Dental School

USC Dental School, the first dental school in Southern California, was established in 1897. Formally known as the USC School of Dentistry and part of the private University of Southern California, it is located in Los Angeles, California.

The school offers a wide range of traditional and specialty programs. Traditional programs include the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Bachelor of Science (BS) in Dental Hygiene, and the Master of Science (MS) in Craniofacial Biology. Advanced specialty certificates are awarded in: Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, General Dentistry, General Practice Residency, and Orthodontics. USC Dental School also works in conjunction with the university's other schools to offer special degrees like the combined Doctor of Dental Surgery/Master of Science (DDS/MS) in Gerontology.

Of all the universities in the United States, USC accepts the largest number of international students. USC Dental School offers a popular two-year Advanced Standing Program for international dentists.
